The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced on Wednesday that Porsche has recalled 173,538 vehicles in the United States of America, due to the possibility that the rear view camera image may not appear when the car is placed in reverse.

According to what was reported by Reuters, the recall includes specific models of the Cayenne and Cayenne E-Hybrid (2019-2025), 911 and Taycan (2020-2025), Panamera (2024-2025), and Panamera E-Hybrid (2025).
The administration indicated that these cars do not comply with the requirements of the Federal Safety Standard for Motor Vehicles regarding rear visibility.
The administration confirmed that the agents will update the driver assistance program free of charge.
