I shared Egyptian Professional League At the annual meeting of the World Leagues Football Federation in Athens, Greece, with the participation of more than 40 professional leagues around the world.
The Association was represented at the meeting by Dr. Khaled Refaat, Advisor to the Professional Association for International Affairs.
The Professional League in Greece, headed by Mrs. Katia Koksen, hosted and organized the event, and the meeting was attended by a large number of international leagues, led by the English Professional League “Premier League”, headed by Richard Masters, President of the League and President of the World Leagues Federation.
During the meetings, many important topics were discussed on the international scene, most notably the problems of crowded local and international competition schedules, as well as commercial rights and governance systems, in addition to a number of other topics, in the presence of representatives of global football institutions such as FIFA, the European Union, the Professional Players Association, the European Club Association and a number of other institutions.
On the other hand, Dr. Khaled Refaat, the representative of the Association, chaired the meetings of the African Associations, as well as the meetings of the Association of Associations with the Association of Professional Players in Africa, where issues of cooperation between the associations were discussed and work was done to find mechanisms for cooperation and joint development.
It should be noted that Egypt hosted the annual meeting last year in Cairo, a meeting that everyone testified was the best so far.
