During the past few days, Pope Tawadros II received many calls. To check on his health following the minor surgery he underwent a few days ago in a hospital in Austria.

The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ambassador Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Counselor Mahmoud Fawzi, Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs and Political Communication, Sherif Fathi, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity and former Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki, Counselor Mohamed El-Shenawy, Head of the Administrative Prosecution Authority, Hassan Abdullah, Governor of the Central Bank, and Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled Hassan, Governor of Alexandria, contacted him to reassure and congratulate the success of the surgical operation.
