A study reveals an amazing secret to heart health
According to the study, which followed more than 53,000 adults over eight years, simple changes in daily lifestyle may have a noticeable impact on heart health, especially when combined with improved sleep, physical activity, and diet.
The results showed that getting an additional amount of rest, even if it is as simple as just 11 minutes, may contribute to improving general health indicators, especially when combined with a slight increase in daily movement and eating larger amounts of vegetables.
The study also indicated that the best health results were associated with getting between 8 and 9 hours of sleep per day, in addition to practicing about 40 minutes of moderate physical activity and following a healthy diet rich in fish, whole grains, and dairy products, while reducing sugars and processed meats.
The researchers confirmed that these simple habits do not work separately, but rather integrate with each other to form a more effective healthy lifestyle, which reflects positively on heart health.
Despite the positive results, the study explained that it is observational, which means that it shows a correlation between healthy habits and reducing risks, without conclusively proving a direct causal relationship.
