Iranian media reports revealed that an air strike occurred on one of the halls of the Grand Azadi Stadium, in the Iranian capital, Tehran, during the current war between Iran on one side and the United States and Israel on the other side.
According to what was reported by the Iranian Mehr Agency, an American-Israeli bombing targeted the Azadi Hall, which has a capacity of 12,000, and is located within the large Azadi complex. The bombing resulted in the destruction of the hall as well as the destruction of a housing complex belonging to the Cycling Federation, in addition to the new building of the Federation.
The Iranian agency indicated that the bombing also resulted in damage to the windows of the surrounding halls, including the Azadi Complex swimming pool.
