The Shebin El-Kom Criminal Court in Menoufia Governorate began a short while ago the trial session for the accused of ending the lives of the children of the village of Al-Raheb.

Today, the Shebin El-Kom Criminal Court in Menoufia Governorate witnessed the absence of the accused’s family from attending the first session of his trial, due to the accused’s mother suffering from a health condition that prevented the family from being able to attend, according to what the accused’s brother reported.

The session was held amid tight security measures to secure the courtroom and its surroundings, in light of a state of anticipation and sadness that descended on the families of the victims and the people of the village, a number of whom were keen to be present to follow the proceedings of the trial and to demand just retribution for their children.
