Cairo 24 obtained the text of the investigations and investigations of the Administrative Control Authority into the case in which two managers in the Al-Muski district were accused of requesting and receiving a bribe from one of the major merchants in the Al-Muski area in exchange for facilitating construction procedures for a piece of land owned by him.

Investigations by the Administrative Control Authority confirmed the bribery incident, and the Public Prosecution’s permission was obtained to monitor, record, and photograph the meetings and telephone conversations that took place between the defendants.

Its implementation resulted in him monitoring telephone conversations and a meeting between the famous merchant in Al-Muski and the first and second defendants at the Al-Muski neighborhood headquarters, during which the first defendant confirmed his request for an amount of 150 thousand pounds – as a bribe – in exchange for issuing it, which was reduced by the mediation of the second defendant to an amount of 50 thousand in exchange for issuing a statement of the suitability of a plot of land for construction owned by the father of the first witness.

The first accused and the famous merchant had a telephone conversation, and the latter informed him of his issuance of that statement. They agreed to meet the next day, and in accordance with that, the first witness prepared his car technically and arranged the bribe amount.

The meeting between the latter two in a car at the dealer was also monitored, during which the first accused took the agreed-upon bribe amount, and he and the bribe amount were seized – in accordance with the permission of the Public Prosecution.

The case bore the case No. 4579 of 2025, felonies of the Bab al-Sharia section, registered as No. 1234 of 2025 in central Cairo, and No. 9739 of 2025, the Supreme State Security District, and registered as No. 1098 of 2025, the Supreme State Security felonies. It was investigated under the supervision of Counselor Ahmed Badawi, Attorney General of the Supreme State Security Prosecution.

The investigation authorities charged the Director of the Planning Department and the Planning Engineer in the Al-Moski neighborhood in Cairo Governorate, who is in pretrial detention, and the Director of the Environmental Affairs Department in the Al-Moski neighborhood, who is in pretrial detention, with receiving and mediating the bribe amount.
