Today, Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate witnessed moderate rainfall in a number of cities and centers of the governorate, coinciding with noticeable wind activity, which led to a relative drop in temperatures, amid continuous monitoring by the executive agencies.
Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate announced an increase in the degree of preparedness in all local units, with the deployment of cars and rainwater sweeping equipment to immediately deal with any accumulations of water in the streets and squares, in order to ensure the flow of traffic and maintain the safety of citizens.
The governorate confirmed that the heads of centers and cities have been assigned to monitor the weather conditions around the clock, and to coordinate with operating rooms and drinking water and sanitation companies, to intervene quickly in the event of any emergency or accumulation of rainwater.
Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate also appealed to citizens to be careful while driving on the roads, to stay away from lighting poles and trees during periods of active winds, and to immediately report any water accumulations or malfunctions through the operating rooms designated for that purpose.
