The stars of the film “An Author, a Director, and a Thief” celebrated the special screening of the work, in the presence of the stars Mai Kassab and Ahmed Fathi, along with a large number of the work team and the audience, amid an atmosphere of joy and interaction with the screening of the film, which belongs to the type of social comedy films.

An elite group of artists participate in the film’s starring role, including: Ahmed Fathi, Mai Kassab, Mimi Gamal, Sami Maghawry, Otaka, Yasser Al-Tobji, Mahmoud Hafez, and Nelly Mahmoud. The film’s events revolve within a social comedy framework around the story of a film writer named Bulbul, who is exposed to a major event that radically changes the course of his life, affecting his relationship with his wife, the beautician, and his family and friends.
In exclusive statements to Cairo 24, the artist Ahmed Fathi said about his role in the film: I appear in my new film as a screenwriter, dreaming of success but facing many crises and difficulties to reach his dream, and he appeared in a completely different way than I presented before.
For her part, Mai Kassab continues to prepare for her new album, in conjunction with continuing to film more than one new artistic work, including Game 5. Mai Kassab said in a special statement to Cairo 24: In the current period, I continue to prepare for my new album, which is supposed to be released in the upcoming winter season. I also present 3 songs in my upcoming films, and I hope that it will be successful when it is released.
It is worth noting that Mai Kassab participated in the last Ramadan season through the series Al-Maddah 5, starring Hamada Hilal, written by Amin Gamal and directed by Ahmed Samir Farag. The production company continues to prepare for the sixth part of the work in order to announce the beginning of filming so that it will be ready for showing in Ramadan 2026.
