The Egyptian Gazette published in issue No. 246, issued on November 24, 2025, a decision issued in the name of the people, issued by the Cairo Criminal Court of First Instance, First Circuit, Badr Criminal Court, held in the consultation room at the headquarters of the Badr Court of Appeals, the decision to include the Medan Foundation, which is affiliated with the terrorist group, and 108 other defendants on the lists of terrorist entities.
Listing the terrorist group’s Maidan Foundation on the lists of terrorist entities
This came under the chairmanship of Judge Mohamed Al-Saeed Al-Sherbiny, President of the Court, and the membership of Judges Gharib Mohamed Ezzat and Mahmoud Mohamed Zidan, Presidents of the Cairo Court of Appeal, and in the presence of Mohamed Zein Al-Abidin, the Prosecutor.
It issued the following decision: No. 1 of 2025 for listing terrorist entities, and No. 7 of 2025 for listing terrorists regarding the case registered as No. 3865 of 2025 Supreme State Security.
The court, held in the consultation room, decided to include: Firstly – the Muslim Brotherhood, and its affiliated Maidan Foundation based abroad, on the list of terrorist entities. Secondly, the following defendants whose names are on the list of terrorists, namely:
Provided that the listing on both lists will be for a period of five years starting from the date of issuance of this decision, and I ordered that the listing decision be published in the Egyptian Gazette, along with the effects that result from publication and throughout its duration. This decision was issued and read out in a session on Tuesday, corresponding to 11/18/2025.
