We are only a few days away from the start of the tournament Arab Cup 2025, which is scheduled to be held in Qatar during the period from 1 to 18 December, with the participation of 16 teams, under the supervision of FIFA for the second time in a row.
The Egyptian national team, led by Helmy Toulan, is competing in the third group of the Arab Cup, along with the UAE, Jordan and Kuwait national teams.
He was the top scorer in the Arab Cup
Only 6 people dominated the title of top scorer in the Arab Cup, over the course of the 10 editions that were held from the first tournament in 1963 in Lebanon, until the last edition hosted by Qatar in 2021.
The list of top scorers in the Arab Cup throughout history witnessed the emergence of 6 nationalities from countries: Lebanon, Tunisia, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Saudi Arabia. The Iraqi national team has the largest share of the award, after its players won the title 3 times.
Ayman Mansour, the former star of Zamalek and the Egyptian national team, is the only Egyptian player to win the award, after he was crowned equally with the duo Saeed Al-Owairan, the Saudi star, and Kuwaiti Walid Al-Fulaij.
