The Supply Directorate, with its external administration, launched intensive ration campaigns on a number of governorate centers, including visits and inspections of municipal, tourist, and French bakeries, in addition to commercial stores, markets, stores, butane depots, gas stations, ration clerks, and my association project.
Intensive food campaigns
This comes within the framework of the directives of Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor of Assiut, to intensify ration campaigns in various parts of the governorate, and in implementation of the instructions of Khaled Muhammad Ahmed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Assiut, where the Supply Directorate and all its departments launched a number of intensive campaigns to ensure the extent of compliance with ration laws and decisions.
The campaigns were carried out in conjunction with Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Rashwan Al-Zaidi, Head of Supply Investigations, and Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Abdel Karim, Undersecretary of the Administration.
The campaigns resulted in the writing of the following records:
In the field of markets:
A quantity of 25 kilograms of chicken and liver unfit for human consumption was seized.
Issuing 12 closure reports for catering merchants.
Issuing 4 closure minutes for gas warehouses.
3 minutes were issued for not announcing the prices of food rations.
5 minutes were issued for not announcing the prices of butane cylinders.
2 reports were issued for irregular registration in the 21 petroleum registry.
4 records were issued for the sale of cigarettes at more than the official price.
10 minutes were issued for not announcing prices for shops, cafes, restaurants and shops.
2 reports were issued for not holding health certificates.
In the field of municipal bakeries:
A number of 183 reports were issued for municipal bakeries, ranging from reports of underweight, non-conformity to specifications, lack of cleanliness, lack of an advertising data board, partial cessation, lack of a scale, misuse of quantities of flour, and failure to give cash to citizens.
The Supply Directorate in Assiut confirms the continuation of intensive ration campaigns to control markets, preserve the rights of citizens, and address all forms of ration violations.
