US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth announced that US forces had begun a military operation called Falcon Eye against ISIS in Syria, stressing that the operation is still ongoing.
He added that this is not the beginning of war, but rather a declaration of revenge, and the United States of America, under the leadership of President Donald Trump, will not hesitate and will never back down from defending our people.
Reports indicated that 6 aircraft belonging to the International Coalition were participating in carrying out the operation, targeting sites suspected of being linked to ISIS in several areas within Syrian territory.

Field sources reported hearing strong explosions in a number of areas in central Syria, coinciding with air strikes carried out by the coalition within the framework of the operation.
Operation Falcon Eye comes in the context of the ongoing efforts of the international coalition to pursue the remnants of ISIS and prevent its reactivation or concentration in the Syrian regions.
