French President Emmanuel Macron expressed France’s full solidarity with the Swiss people and the country’s authorities.
Swiss police said Thursday that about 40 people were killed and 115 others were injured in the fire that broke out in a bar in the Crans-Montana ski resort in the Swiss Alps during New Year celebrations.
The Arab Republic of Egypt also expressed its sincere condolences to the government and people of the friendly Swiss Confederation for the victims of the tragic fire that broke out in the Crans-Montana region, resulting in a large number of victims and injuries.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Arab Republic of Egypt affirmed its full solidarity with Switzerland in this painful humanitarian circumstance, expressing its sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
