In his report, Nadav Eyal, an Israeli political researcher and journalist, said that Iran is considering creating a new nuclear weapon of its kind, based on pure fusion without uranium or plutonium.

Iran’s nuclear program

Eyal claimed that this weapon would be less radioactive and more difficult to regulate. An unprecedented step that reveals an obsessive nuclear ambition, although Iran’s ability to implement it is almost non-existent, according to estimates by Israeli and American sources.

Eyal said that Israeli estimates indicate that the Iranian test may be a front to hide the development of a future conventional nuclear bomb, exploiting legal loopholes and religious fatwas, or simply an attempt to learn and prepare for a possible nuclear explosion.

Eyal revealed that Israel’s recent strikes targeted components of Iran’s plan, confirming the Hebrew state’s readiness to confront any nuclear surprise. Surprises, as it appears, continue to move the map of conflict in the Middle East, despite Iran’s collapsed economy and scarcity of resources.
