The competent authorities are investigating 13 people who exploited 14 children in begging in Cairo.
The General Administration of Juvenile Welfare Investigations in the Specialized Police Sector was able to arrest 7 men and 6 women (9 of whom had criminal information) for exploiting juvenile children in begging, begging passers-by, and selling goods in an urgent manner within the scope of Cairo Governorate. They were accompanied by 14 juveniles who were at risk if they were selling goods in an urgent manner and begging, and when they confronted them, they confessed to their criminal activity.

Legal measures were taken, the victims were handed over to their capacity, the necessary pledge was taken from them to take good care of them, and coordination was made with the concerned authorities to take the necessary measures towards placing those whose eligibility could not be reached in one of the care homes, as this came as a continuation of the efforts to combat crimes of exploitation of juveniles.
