The Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion in Cairo organized the Scientific Council, which was entitled: Reading the Durra theological system in one session by Dr. Hassan Al-Shafi’i, a member of the Council of Senior Scholars at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.

Amidst hundreds of professors and students, Dr. Hassan Al-Shafi’i accepted Sheikh Muhammad Ahmad Hassan, the youngest imam of the Qibla at Al-Azhar Mosque and the contestant of the State of Recitation, amid widespread admiration across social media.
Dr. Mahmoud Muhammad Hussein, Dean of the College, explained that the science assemblies are held under the generous patronage of His Eminence Dr. Salama Juma Daoud, President of the University, stressing that His Eminence pays great attention to the science assemblies; Based on the university’s keenness to preserve the heritage of Islam and Muslims.
The Dean of the College added that the Council witnessed an unparalleled large turnout. The college’s grand celebration hall was filled, as were the adjacent halls, and “Durra Al-Kalamia” was read in its entirety during the council.
The Dean of the College pointed out that the council was attended by Egyptian and expatriate science students and researchers in various scientific fields, along with a group of faculty members and auxiliary staff at the faculties of Al-Azhar University in Cairo and the regions. He pointed out that this large attendance reflects the concern for science councils, and confirms that Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, as a university and a university, will remain a destination for knowledge and a Kaaba for scholars from all over the world.
At the end of the council, His Eminence Dr. Hassan Al-Shafi’i gave permission for all those present, and everyone was keen to take memorial photos with His Eminence.
