Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister, stressed Housing Utilities and urban communities must not tolerate building violations and encroachments and implement the law strictly.
Head of the 6th of October City Authority: Implementing 8 immediate removals of building violations and intensive occupancy campaigns
In this context, Engineer Mohamed Adel, head of the 6th of October City Development Authority, announced the implementation of 8 immediate removals of building violations, including the removal of illegal fences in the Green Belt area and a number of illegal building increases within various residential neighborhoods.
The head of the agency explained that the campaigns aimed to remove excess roof rooms, illegal studios, and buildings with backlashes, in addition to implementing an evening removal of one of the violations in the 2,000-block area, in order to ensure full compliance with the approved plans.
In parallel, the occupancy teams launched intensive campaigns that resulted in the removal of encroachments on the public road, and the seizure of 3 espresso cars and 6 violating tuk-tuks, while taking all legal measures against the violators.
Engineer Mohamed Adel confirmed that the city authority operates a 24-hour monitoring and follow-up system, and will not allow any new violations, pointing to the continuation of campaigns to preserve the cultural appearance of 6th of October City.
For his part, Engineer Hossam Hosni, Vice President of the Development Agency, confirmed that there will be no reconciliation over the new violations, and that periodic follow-up will continue to ensure that they are not repeated, while raising the efficiency of the various neighborhoods and axes.
