He added that the Egyptian economy has witnessed a noticeable improvement during the recent period compared to previous years, explaining that economic performance indicators have begun to reflect a positive development in light of the policies taken by the Central Bank to control inflation.
Mansour pointed out that Egypt faces a debt estimated at about 10.5 trillion pounds, but the Central Bank – according to him – is able to reduce inflation and debt rates during the coming period with the continuation of disciplined monetary policies.
He added: We pity the state for the crises it has gone through, from the Russian-Ukrainian war to the war on Gaza, and the Suez Canal revenues were affected by 70%.
He explained that the stability of the currency price and the improvement in economic indicators are due to the increase in tourism revenues and high export rates, in addition to the state’s steps in attracting investments.
The head of Palm Hills Company also stressed that the partnership between the state and the private sector has given companies a strong impetus to enter into giant national projects, noting that nearly 7,000 kilometers of roads have been completed through joint efforts between the two sides, concluding: There is great competition between companies… and we hope that the pace will be faster.
