The crisis escalated between the artist Helmy Abdel Baqi And the artist Mustafa Kamel, after an audio clip attributed to the latter was circulated that included an insult to Abdel Baqi, which prompted him to break his silence and send a direct and sharp message through new statements.

Helmy Abdel Baqi said in a video clip that he posted on his personal account on Facebook, that throughout his years of service in the union, he had not neglected a day with any member, explaining: I want to ask the entire General Assembly, has there ever been a day that you neglected anyone? During the days of former Captain Hani Shaker, I was the head of the Services Committee, and during the Corona days, I used to deliver answers to people at their homes, and I made protocols with hospitals to serve members, and I never neglected anyone.
He added that any objection to his service to the members is, from his point of view, an attempt to destabilize the union, explaining: Anyone who objects to something is increasing and conspiring… There are people who want to threaten the union.
Abdel Baqi commented on the audio recording that insulted him, saying: I was surprised by a recording of my voice in which I was insulted and insulted with hurtful and difficult words said about my dream, Abdel Baqi, because I was standing with you in the elections and all of Egypt rallied with you, but people came in and told you that my dream serves the people because he wants to remain a captain, and unfortunately you believed it.
He continued, moved: I am a respectable man with a respectable family, a wife, and children.. What will they say when they hear these words about their respected father? He concluded his message: I will not give up my right.. If I leave it, I will die, it is better, and the coming days will show.
