The artist Wafa Amer praised the artist Reham Haggag, stressing that she respects her artistic choices and appreciates her steadfastness in the face of the criticism she has been exposed to over the past years.
Amer said that Reham has a strong personality, and knows well how to manage her decisions, whether on the technical or personal level, noting that she was subjected to a major attack, but she was able to prove herself and continue with steady steps.
Wafa Amer’s statements came during her hosting of the Behind the Sun program, presented by the journalist Yasmine Al-Khatib, and shown on Al-Shams Channel, where she stressed that success is the best response to any attack, and that “true revenge is through work and success.”
She added that thinking about revenge may hinder a person from progressing, while focusing on work and diligence is the shortest path to achieving the status that the artist deserves.
