The young artist Khaled Munib announced that he dedicated his first new album, “Amal Tahla,” to his uncle, the late star Amer Munib, stressing that releasing this work is an artistic step that carries a lot of feelings and appreciation for him.
Khaled Munib said, through his official account on Instagram, that the album that he is preparing to release soon holds a special place in his heart, explaining: This is my first album called Tahla Workers…and since it is my first album, I would like to dedicate it to my first lover and teacher who taught me everything about music, “Uncle Amer,” and I hope the album is worthy of the responsibility I am bearing after it.
This dedication is a message of loyalty to the late artist Amer Munib, who left a great impact on Khaled’s career, whether on a humanitarian or artistic level, especially since he was his first supporter and inspiration in the world of singing.
The death of Amer Munib
The artist Amer Munib died on November 26, 2011 in Dar Al Fouad Hospital in 6th of October City, after suffering from cancer, which lasted for more than two years. He was admitted to the hospital to have a partial colon procedure done in Germany. A few days after the operation, he was transferred to Dar Al Fouad Hospital after suffering from a severe drop in blood circulation. Which led him to a coma during which he remained in the intensive care room, and then his health condition deteriorated there again until he suffered another severe drop in blood circulation, so that God may grant him death.
Regarding his last will before his passing, his daughter, Maryam Amer Munib, mentioned, during a phone call to the Ambassador Aziza program, saying: My father advised me not to enter the field of art, but in the end the final decision is hers, and he also advised her not to be arrogant and condescending to anyone.
