Islam Abdel Majeed, the brother and agent of Hossam Abdel Majeed, the Zamalek player, revealed the behind-the-scenes of the player’s contract renewal file with the White Castle, stressing that the current period is not witnessing any new developments.

Islam Abdel Majeed said, during an intervention with journalist Saif Zaher on the “On Stadium” program broadcast on the On Sport channel, that the club’s current circumstances do not allow opening the renewal file, in light of the administration’s preoccupation with resolving crises and focusing on competing in the league championship.

The player’s agent explained that there are no developments in Zamalek’s negotiations to renew Hossam’s contract, stressing that the player welcomes continuing within the White Castle, but he stipulates that a clause be included that allows him to experience external professionalism.

He added: “Hossam Abdel Majeed wants to become a professional through Zamalek, and he is looking for this step every day, and our primary goal is professionalism in Europe.”

He stressed that it is normal for any player who shines in the Premier League to receive the attention of Al-Ahly, Pyramids and Zamalek, but he stressed that the player will not discuss any offer from within Egypt after going through the professional experience, with the exception of Zamalek, out of respect and appreciation for the club.
