The General Authority of Meteorology announced details of the weather conditions today, Monday, April 13, 2026, in Cairo and the governorates, where cold weather prevails in the early morning, and hot during the day in most areas.
Monday weather
The authority explained in its statement regarding today’s weather conditions that there will be a gradual rise in temperatures over most areas, with cold weather prevailing in the early morning, hot during the day on the northern coasts, hot in Lower Egypt and Cairo up to northern Upper Egypt, very hot in southern Upper Egypt, and cold at night.
Weather phenomena today
Regarding the expected weather phenomena, water mist will prevail, which may be dense at times, on some roads leading to and from the north of the country as far as Greater Cairo, the Canal Cities, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai.
With the presence of suspended dust during the day on some exposed areas of the governorates of Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo and North Upper Egypt.
Wind activity prevails in areas of Salloum – Siwa and areas of South Sinai at intermittent intervals, and there are weak chances for some low clouds to form on separate areas of the northern coasts, Lower Egypt and Cairo.
