The Ministry of Health and Population announced the administrative closure and suspension of the Verona Clinic in the Suez Champs-Elysées Tower and the Davincl Clinic in the Qasr El Nil Tower in the Arbaeen district of the Suez Governorate, after it was proven that they were operating without a license and with serious violations that threaten the safety of citizens.

The measures came in implementation of the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister health And the population, by intensifying oversight of private medical facilities.

An intensive campaign carried out by the Department of Free Therapy in Suez, in coordination with the Central Administration of Non-Governmental Treatment Institutions and Licensing, revealed that the Verona Clinic was operating without a license, while the technical director was completely absent, and there was a franchise doctor who was not licensed to practice the profession, with poor circulation of medical waste, and open Botox ampoules stored in an unsafe manner were discovered inside the refrigerator, despite the denial of any cosmetic injection sessions being performed.

In the second facility, Davincl Clinic, it was also revealed that there was a lack of a license, and the absence of a contract for the safe disposal of medical waste, and expired and opened cosmetic materials were discovered without recording the date of opening, in addition to the use of unqualified and unlicensed workers operating the laser devices.

Dr. Hisham Zaki, Head of the Central Administration of Non-Governmental Treatment Institutions, confirmed the continuation of sudden oversight campaigns nationwide, and urged citizens to ensure the existence of facility licenses and professional practice licenses for doctors and technicians before receiving any medical or cosmetic service, in order to preserve their health and safety.
