A hero died Bodybuilding Chinese Wang Kun, one of the most prominent stars of the game in China, has died at the age of 30, after suffering a health crisis likely related to a heart problem, according to media reports.

A spokesman for the Anhui Provincial Bodybuilding Association confirmed on Wednesday that the death was the result of a possible heart attack, noting that Wang was in good physical condition only a few days before his sudden passing. The deceased was a professional player in the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness, and achieved a remarkable presence on the sports scene over the past years.

Wang Kun is famous for achieving eight consecutive titles in the Chinese National Bodybuilding Federation Championships, making him one of the prominent names within the bodybuilding community. In previous interviews, he talked about his strict lifestyle, explaining that for ten years he lived what he described as a monk’s life, adhering to rigorous training and a strict diet, in which he relied on limited meals such as soup broth with meat, and boiled chicken breasts.
Before his death, Wang was preparing to open a new gym in the city of Hefei, expressing his optimism about the project, and considering it the beginning of a new phase in his career.
The news of his death sparked a state of sadness among followers of bodybuilding in China, especially in light of his young age and his track record of athletic achievements.
