The Minister of State for Military Production explained, at the beginning of the meeting with the American “Northrop Grumman”, that the ministry’s primary mission is to meet the demands of the Egyptian Armed Forces (in terms of small, medium, and heavy ammunition, weapons, equipment, tanks, armored vehicles, missile launchers, and advanced electronic systems), in addition to taking advantage of the surplus production capacities of its companies and affiliated units to manufacture civilian products and participating in various national projects in the country to contribute to achieving comprehensive and sustainable development, expressing He looked forward to strengthening cooperation with the American side in the field of defense industries more deeply during the coming period in a way that would benefit both sides. He praised the experience and capabilities of Northrop Grumman and the advanced military products it produces, pointing to the existence of fruitful cooperation between the Ministry of Military Production and many American companies in various military and civilian fields.

In turn, representatives of the American company pointed out that “Northrop Grumman” works in the field of electronic defense technologies and information technology and has extensive experience in the field of military aircraft systems and assembling parts of commercial aircraft and marine systems. They expressed their aspiration to open horizons for fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Military Production in the field of military manufacturing in light of its manufacturing and technical capabilities known for its efficiency and production lines that match international lines and include workers trained at the highest level and its vital role in providing the requirements of the Egyptian Armed Forces, stressing that Egypt is witnessing A remarkable development in the field of military industries through cooperation with many international companies, which they witnessed during the company’s participation in the “EDEX 2025” exhibition, which is characterized by professional organization and reflects the extent of Egypt’s weight and ability to organize major international exhibitions.
On the other hand, Minister Mohamed Salah reviewed the technological and manufacturing capabilities of military production companies and units, during his meeting with representatives of the Greek “Helink” company, stressing the ministry’s interest in strengthening cooperation between its subsidiaries and international companies in various fields to exchange experiences and joint manufacturing of a number of military products, adding that the manufacturing capabilities and human expertise that characterize both sides will pave the way for opening horizons for fruitful bilateral cooperation that achieves the common interest of both parties and the production of military products that will be exported to surrounding countries.
Representatives of “Helink” pointed out that the company specializes in the design, development and manufacture of electronic systems and advanced military, security and industrial software. The company is registered in the registry of defense materials manufacturers with the Greek Ministry of Defence, and the company is considered a member of the Greek Defense Industries and Aerospace Security Group. They expressed their appreciation for the capabilities and expertise available in military production companies and units, and expressed their aspiration to achieve fruitful joint cooperation with them to produce advanced defense industries.
