The Fayoum Endowments Directorate continued the activities of scholarly councils in interpretation, through my book “Tafsir al-Jalalayn,” one of the most prominent books of interpretation approved by the nation’s scholars, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Osama al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, under the patronage of Sheikh Salama Abdel Razek, Director of the Directorate, under the supervision of Sheikh Yahya Muhammad, Director of Da’wah, and in the presence of an elite group of distinguished imams.

And this comes Councils Scientific research is part of the Ministry of Endowments’ plan to spread enlightened moderate thought, deepen the correct understanding of the meanings of the Holy Qur’an, and link the Qur’anic text to contemporary reality, which contributes to building rational religious awareness and enhances moral and human values in society.
The events witnessed a remarkable attendance from worshipers, as scholars interpreted the verses in a simplified scientific manner, combining the originality of the approach and clarity of presentation, while opening the door to dialogue and answering the audience’s questions, which reflects the directorate’s keenness to interact directly with the public.
Sheikh Salama Abdel Razek confirmed that these scientific councils are continuing according to a specific timetable, in implementation of the directives of His Excellency the Minister of Endowments, and in an effort to restore the pioneering role of the mosque in education, guidance and human building, indicating that the coming period will witness an intensification of such scientific and advocacy activities in the various sub-departments of the governorate.
