
Manar Ghanem, a member of the Authority’s Media Center, revealed Meteorology Details of today’s weather, Friday, and the expected temperatures in the country.
Manar Ghanem said during her telephone interview on the Good Morning Egypt program, broadcast on Channel One, that the country is witnessing a state of instability in weather conditions, and that some areas are witnessing rain due to the country being affected by an air depression, which brings with it air masses.
She pointed out that what the country is exposed to is accompanied by wind speeds ranging from 40 to 60 kilometers per hour, and that wind activity makes citizens feel significant drops in temperature, so everyone must be careful.
She pointed out that wind activity may cause sand and dust in some governorates, and that this will result in reduced visibility, and that wind speeds on the sea may reach 70 km.
Sand-stirring winds and high sea waves
Today’s weather is witnessing noticeable wind activity throughout, with speeds ranging between 40 to 60 km/h, which may cause sand and dust in some areas, accompanied by severe disturbance in maritime traffic on the coasts of the Mediterranean Sea, the Red Sea, and the Gulf of Suez and Aqaba.
About the expected temperatures, today, in various regions, as follows:
Greater Cairo and Lower Egypt range between 17 to 18 degrees during the day.
The northern coast ranges between 17 to 18 degrees during the day.
South Sinai ranges between 22 to 24 degrees during the day.
North Upper Egypt ranges between 19 to 20 degrees during the day.
South Upper Egypt ranges between 23 to 25 degrees during the day.
