Journalist Khaled Al-Ghandour denounced the statements of Captain Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egyptian national team, following the loss to the Senegal national team in the semi-finals.

Khaled Al-Ghandour wrote on his personal Facebook account: “We will not fall into the trap of losing the world because of football Egypt and Morocco One hand, love and respect is the language that must prevail between the two brothers.”

For his part, journalist Amr Adeeb also commented on the statements Captain Hossam Hassan, Amr Adeeb, presenter of the Al-Hekaya program, said on MBC Misr: “All of this is a reward for what Morocco did, and why are you not focused on your performance and play? Morocco’s performance is poor, and you are the one whose performance is poor in football, and what is the team that reaches the opponent’s goal at the end of the match?”

Amr Adeeb continued, saying: “Morocco were encouraging Egypt in a match, and Ibrahim Hassan came out and said to Morocco, ‘You have never won the championship. Is this also a statement? Hakimi made attempts in the tournament. He repaid all your attempts in the tournament. Who said the referee is a monster, and where are your attempts?’”

He continued: “We stop this method. Why is Hossam Hassan talking about politics when you are the only one who is out in a fight, and after you spent a month in Morocco, you are now saying that Morocco has mosquitoes.”
