The local unit of the center and city of Samasta, headed by Major General Osama Younis, responded to the complaint of some residents of the village of Al-Koum Al-Ahmar regarding the quality of drinking water. Coordination was made with the Drinking Water and Sanitation Branch in Beni Suef, and a technical team was sent to detect and treat the causes immediately, and the service was restored to normal, within the framework of the directives of Dr. Muhammad Hani Ghoneim, Governor of Beni Suef.

The local unit followed the executive position to monitor infringements on agricultural lands and state property, as illegal construction work in Ezbat Saleh, affiliated with the Shantour Village Council, was stopped, construction equipment was seized, and the necessary legal measures were taken. An expanded cleaning campaign was also implemented, including a number of city streets and the vicinity of schools, government agencies, and places of worship, in addition to the collection of household waste from villages. It resulted in the supply of more than 80 tons of waste to the organic fertilizer factory in the desert hinterland, with a number of warnings being issued for environmental violations and road occupancy.

While the local unit of the center and city of Biba, headed by Brigadier General Ahmed Alaa El-Din, intensified its field efforts to raise the level of services and improve the cultural appearance, as extensive cleaning work was carried out in the city’s main streets, which included Port Said Street, Tahrir, Abu Seif, Al-Tahawiyya, Al-Shabab, Al-Mahata Bridge, in front of the Palace of Culture, the Sports Club, Al-Mustafa Street, the Educational Administration, Al-Ward, the Army Wall, Nile Trad Street, the Half Acre Area, and a number of side streets, with the emptying of fixed containers.

The campaigns resulted in the supply of more than 50 tons of waste to the organic fertilizer factory in the desert backwater in Samasta, in addition to carrying out tree trimming and removing tree waste.

At the village level, a cleaning campaign was carried out in the village of Hiliya on the Hiliya-Sumsta road and the Al-Madhala area up to the village of Baramel, lighting lamps were maintained at the entrances to the villages of Hiliya and Tarshoub, and 6 environmental reports were issued in the village of Hiliya and 3 occupancy reports in the village of Zawiyat Al-Nawiyya. The local village units in Biba Island, Saft Rashin, and Sadas also carried out cleaning campaigns, clearing accumulations, and paving and widening main roads, especially the Nile Trad Road and Kafr Jumaa Road.
