According to the same standards that were applied last year, only males aged 55 and above, women 50 years and above, and children under the age of 12 when accompanied by a first-degree relative will be allowed to attend prayers at Al-Aqsa, the first of the two tribes and the third of the Two Holy Mosques.
The Israeli occupation Ministry of Defense said that the political leadership, after a security assessment, accepted a recommendation regarding the framework for the entry of Palestinian worshipers into the Holy Mosque during the month of Ramadan.
The Ministry added that all permits are conditional on obtaining prior security approval from the relevant security authorities, and that residents who travel to perform prayers on the Temple Mount will be required to perform digital documentation at the crossings upon their return to the areas of Judea and Samaria in the West Bank at the end of the day of prayer.
