The directorates of education in the governorates announced that there are instructions stipulating that no mid-year 2026 exams will be held during the Christian holidays, January 5, 6, and 7, 2026.
The education directorates also confirmed that there are strict instructions to fully adhere to the ministerial controls and instructions regulating the work of the 2026 mid-year exams, explaining that the instructions included an emphasis on tightening the work of the committees and ensuring discipline within the 2026 mid-year exam committees.
The education directorates indicated that the plan for distributing invigilators and observers is being reviewed in order to achieve justice and efficiency in the 2026 mid-year exams, stressing the interest in the readiness of schools and the headquarters of the 2026 mid-year exam committees in terms of cleanliness, lighting, ventilation and security.
The education directorates stressed taking the necessary measures to confront any obstacles that may hinder the conduct of the 2026 mid-year exams, and to intervene immediately to solve them, stressing the issuance of strict instructions on the necessity of preventing cheating in all its forms and strictly implementing the laws and regulations in all 2026 mid-year exam committees.
