The Confederation of African Football, CAF, highlighted the match Zamalek The match between Al-Masry and Port Said is scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, as part of the group stage of the African Confederation Cup.

What did CAF say about the match between Zamalek and Al-Masry in the Confederation Cup?

CAF said in a report on its official website that the fourth round of the group stage of the Confederation Cup will witness a prominent confrontation between the two rivals, Egypt and Zamalek, again, at the Suez Stadium, after the third round match, which was decided by a goalless draw.

He pointed out that Al-Masry Al-Port Said maintained its position at the top of the group with 7 points, ahead of Zamalek, which has 5 points in second place, explaining that in the event of a draw in tomorrow’s match, the conflict between the two teams will remain, while a victory for either party will represent a big step towards qualifying for the quarter-finals.

CAF concluded its report: South African club Kaizer Chiefs will remain in the competition, while ZESCO United is seeking to score its first points, so the outcome of the confrontation in Suez may be decisive.

Al-Masry of Port Said leads the fourth group standings with 7 points, two points behind Zamalek, which is in second place with 5 points.

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs comes in third place with 3 points, and Zambia’s ZESCO United is at the bottom of the group without points.
