Engineer Amr Lashin met with Governor Aswan With a delegation from the Aswan preaching region, headed by Sheikh Muhammad Ali Hafni, Director General of the region and Chairman of the Fatwa Committee, within the framework of supporting aspects of joint cooperation between the governorate and religious institutions in a way that contributes to serving the people of the Aswan community.
During the meeting, Engineer Amr Lashin stressed the pivotal national role of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, under the leadership of the Grand Imam, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, in consolidating the values of moderation and moderation, and spreading correct religious awareness within society.
Intensifying advocacy and awareness-raising convoys
The governor pointed out the importance of continuous coordination between the governorate agencies and the Aswan preaching area in order to intensify advocacy and awareness-raising convoys in various centers and cities, especially in remote areas and villages most in need, in order to achieve direct communication with citizens, and contribute to enhancing societal stability and human building, in line with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s initiative in this regard.
For his part, Sheikh Muhammad Ali Hafni expressed his appreciation for the Governor of Aswan’s support for Al-Azhar’s religious and societal role, stressing that the Aswan Preaching District is keen to implement targeted advocacy and educational programs in cooperation with the governorate in a way that serves societal issues and enhances the values of loyalty and belonging among citizens.
Sheikh Muhammad Hafni pointed out that the region is responsible for many tasks, including the main fatwa committee and subcommittees at the governorate level, as well as the family arbitration committee, the family reunification and reconciliation committee, and the reconciliation committee, as well as religious awareness for male and female preachers in the region in government institutions and bodies, in addition to participating in the initiatives of the Egyptian Family House, and the Crescent Survey committees.
