The Cardiac Catheterization Unit at Tahta General Hospital continues to achieve outstanding performance in providing specialized medical services, within the framework of the directives of Dr. Amr Dowidar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Sohag Governorate, and under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Zaid, Director of Tahta General Hospital.

The medical team succeeded in performing 18 cases of cardiac catheterization, as part of its keenness to provide advanced and rapid health care to patients. The cases that were dealt with included 14 cases of diagnostic catheterization, 2 cases of therapeutic catheterization, in addition to two emergency cases, which were dealt with with high efficiency.

All cases were conducted under the supervision of Dr. Moamen Lotfy, Consultant Cardiologist, and with the participation of a distinguished medical team that included: Dr. Amr Helmy, Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Unit, Dr. Imad Qasim, Dr. Mustafa Abusna, Dr. Munther Ahmed, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Jalil.

The nursing team, radiology technicians, and ancillary services also played a prominent role in the success of these cases, reflecting the integration of the medical system within the hospital.

This achievement confirms the efficiency and excellence of the medical team in the cardiac catheterization unit, and the keenness of Tahta General Hospital to provide high-quality medical services that contribute to quickly rescuing patients and improving the level of health care provided to citizens.
