The relevant agencies in the Sharkia Governorate launched a massive campaign that resulted in the closure and waxing of an unlicensed addiction treatment clinic in the village of Al-Khars, affiliated with the Minya Al-Qamh Center, for violating the laws regulating work in this field.

The examination revealed that Sanatorium Operating without any official licenses, it hosts 120 inmates who are detained and receiving so-called addiction treatment without approved medical supervision or legal permits.

The necessary legal measures were taken against those in charge of managing the clinic, with the inmates being transferred to safe places to be presented to the competent authorities, and to ensure their health and psychological condition.

The concerned authorities confirmed the continuation of monitoring campaigns on unlicensed centers and clinics, in order to preserve the health and safety of citizens and prevent the exploitation of patients under the name of free treatment.
