Major General Khaled Shuaib, Governor of Matrouh, announced the approval of the Council of Ministers to allocate an area of 9,990 square meters in the city of Al-Hammam, to establish a model traffic unit, as part of a plan to develop the traffic system in the governorate.
The governor pointed out that the project comes within the framework of improving traffic services and facilitating procedures for citizens, which contributes to raising the efficiency of traffic movement and providing a safe and easy traffic environment for road users.
Shuaib stressed that the model traffic unit will include all modern systems that ensure the provision of the best services to citizens, taking into account the development and expansion of services in line with the growing needs of the citizens of the city of Al-Hammam and the surrounding areas.
He added that all necessary procedures to begin implementation will be completed as soon as possible, noting that the unit will contribute significantly to enhancing traffic infrastructure and achieving smooth movement.
This comes within the framework of the governorate’s keenness to provide distinguished services to citizens, and to develop service projects that keep pace with the needs of citizens and provide them with the best solutions in various fields.
