On Monday, Meta announced the appointment of… Dina Powell McCormick is president and vice chairman of the company’s board of directors.
Powell McCormick joined Meta’s board of directors last April, but resigned in December, according to a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.

Powell McCormick will serve in her new role as a member of the management team, and will help guide the company’s strategy and execution, Meta said in a statement.
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, said in a statement: Dina’s experience at the highest levels of global finance, coupled with her deep relationships around the world, makes her uniquely qualified to help Meta manage this next phase of growth in his capacity as President and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors.
