The National Elections Authority received the results of the runoff in 19 canceled districts in the first phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections after the completion of the counting and numerical counting of votes in the subcommittees and handing them over to the general committees, which announced the numerical counting of the valid and invalid votes and the votes obtained by each candidate.

This comes in preparation for the announcement of the results by the National Elections Authority, headed by Judge Hazem Badawy, at the authority’s headquarters next Sunday, January 4, 2026.

The National Elections Authority mourned Counselor Siham Sabri Al-Ansari Ibrahim Ali, Chief Prosecutor of the Administrative Prosecution Authority – Head of the Sub-Voting Committee in the First District of Qena Center in Qena Governorate, who passed away yesterday evening, Sunday, as a result of a painful accident in which her car was involved after she had finished performing her national mission in supervising the House of Representatives elections.
The National Elections Authority confirmed that it received with great sadness the news of the death of our colleague, the consultant, as a result of the accident, as well as the injury of two of her assistant employees in the polling subcommittee in the same accident, after completing the national duty in supervising this round of elections.

The Commission noted that the late colleague was a role model for competence and good behavior, and she performed her duty perfectly during the rounds in which she participated in supervising the elections.
