Details of a seminar to reduce violence among students
The symposium discussed the importance of cohesion among friends, rejecting the idea of bullying, and providing assistance to treat a bullying child, by telling a story, in addition to clarifying the concept of violence, its types to understand its danger, and the magic words “please – thank you – sorry” and the best words that are preferred to be heard from friends to each other, instead of words that encourage violence.
He also talked about introducing the role of child protection committees and the child helpline 16000.
The symposium was lectured by the head of the Child Protection Sub-Unit in the district and was organized based on the assignments of Amal Adel, head of the General Unit for Child Protection, and in cooperation with the Wasat Educational District, led by Adel Hussein, Director of the Wasat Educational District, and was attended by 40 students, with the participation of the school principal and the social psychologist.
