The Kuwaiti Emiri Diwan announced the issuance of an Amiri decree making amendments to a number of ministerial portfolios, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Finance, and a number of other ministries.
According to the Kuwait News Agency, the names of the new ministers are as follows:
Osama Khaled Abdullah Boodai, Minister of Trade and Industry
Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs
Dr. Reem Ghazi Saud Al-Fulaij, Minister of State for Development and Sustainability Affairs
D. Tariq Hamad Nasser Al Jalahma, Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs
Abdulaziz Nasser Abdulaziz Al Marzouq, Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment
Abdullah Sabih Abdullah Bouftin, Minister of Information and Culture
D. Yaqoub Al-Sayyed Youssef Al-Sayyed Hashim Al-Rifai, Minister of Finance
The Amiri Decree also included an amendment to the appointment of Omar Saud Abdulaziz Al Omar, contained in Decree No. 73 of 2024, as follows: – (Omar Saud Abdulaziz Al Omar – Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology).
