Dr. Amira Yasin, Deputy Governor, conducted the interview AlexandriaAn expanded field tour in the scope of the second Montazah neighborhood, to learn about the development work taking place in the Abu Qir axis, which aims to improve the infrastructure and improve the civilized appearance of the main and secondary streets.

During the tour, the Deputy Governor listened to an explanation about the implementation rates and ongoing work on the axis, which includes developing it and raising its efficiency, repaving and laying the asphalt layer, improving the infrastructure, increasing lighting rates and the proportion of green areas and beautification, and establishing rain drainage networks, which contributes to facilitating traffic movement and raising the efficiency of services provided to citizens.
The Deputy Governor inspected the sites of the electricity supply towers, as well as the sites interfering with the project’s route, stressing the necessity of intensifying work rates and adhering to the specified timetables, with the aim of speeding up the completion of the development project as soon as possible, in a way that achieves traffic fluidity and reflects the appropriate civilized form in Alexandria Governorate.
The Deputy Governor confirmed that the development work on the main streets and axes comes within the framework of an integrated plan to improve the level of infrastructure within the governorate, in a way that achieves quality of life for citizens and provides cultural services commensurate with the status of the city of Alexandria.
It is worth noting that the East Abu Qir project focuses on creating a longitudinal traffic axis that serves traffic, as the new ring road is 23 kilometers long, and directly connects the areas east of the city and the desert road, in addition to the construction work of the Al-Sakakin power station. It is part of a comprehensive plan to develop and modernize facilities in Alexandria Governorate.
This came in the presence of the director of the Abu Qir Expansion Project and the engineer, Doaa Abdel Razzaq, head of the second Montazah district
