Engineer Mohamed Shimi, Minister of Public Business Sector, said that the company Al-Nasr Motors It is considered the largest automotive industrial complex in the Middle East. He pointed out that the company currently manufactures and assembles a number of brands, aiming to reach a production capacity ranging between 35 and 40 thousand cars annually, pointing out that the company has already succeeded in achieving profits during the current year.

The Minister explained, during his meeting with a number of journalists in the presence of Cairo 24 at the Ministry’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, that one of the most prominent ongoing projects is the operation of the anode blocks factory, as the Egyptian Company for Carbon Anode Blocks was able to export the first shipment of calcined petroleum coal, since the factory was restarted last October after a hiatus that lasted for more than two years, within the framework of implementing the Ministry’s strategy aimed at maximizing production, increasing exports, enhancing added value, and supporting national industries.
The Minister of Public Business Sector stressed that the return of the anode factory to production and export represents a successful model of the state’s efforts to revive national industries and raise their competitiveness in local and global markets.
He pointed out that the Ministry is working according to a comprehensive vision aimed at maximizing the production capabilities of affiliated companies, improving operating efficiency, increasing industrial exports, in addition to deepening the local component in a way that contributes to supporting the national economy and achieving sustainable development.
