Al-Ahly, Zamalek, Al-Ittihad and Al-Jazira won… results of the fifth round of the basketball league
The teams of Al-Ahly, Zamalek, Al-Ittihad of Alexandria and Al-Jazira were able to decide the matches in their favor at the expense of the teams of Smouha, Sporting, Telecom Egypt and Petrojet in the matches of the fifth round of the competition.. The results of the matches were as follows: –
- Al-Ahly team defeated Smouha team with a score of 83-74
- Zamalek won over Sporting 86-75
- Al-Ittihad of Alexandria defeated Telecom Egypt with a score of 82-74
- Al-Jazira won over Petrojet with a score of 75-84
The ranking round is held in a home-and-away system between the eight participating teams, where the winner of each match gets two points, compared to one point for the defeated, to determine the ranking of the teams from first to eighth and the quarter-final matches.
