Schubert said in radio statements: The past few days witnessed negotiations between Al-Ahly and Dieng before the player joined the Mali national team camp, but the club is secretive about the details of the negotiations, and at times they say they are close to a contract and other times they say no.
He continued: But according to the sources, there was a convergence in financial amounts, after Al-Ahly offered to pay a certain amount and the rest would be privileges related to scoring or making goals, or based on the player’s participation in matches, but they have not finalized the agreement yet.
Schubert continued his statements: As for Hussein Al-Shahat, the story was about a dispute over the duration of the contract. Al-Ahly offered to renew it for a year with the possibility of renewing it for another year, but the player asked for two years.
Schubert concluded: So far, Al-Ahly has not decided on its agreement with Hussein Al-Shahat to renew his contract, and some believe that the crisis is only in the duration of the contract, but the two parties have not yet agreed on a financial agreement either.
Cairo 24 learned from its sources earlier that Al-Ahly made an offer to Mali Dieng for one million and 250 thousand dollars annually, with an annual increase of 100 thousand dollars, in addition to obtaining a first-class advertising contract.
For his part, the player requested $1,800,000, including the value of advertisements, which caused the financial gap between the two parties to widen and the conclusion of the negotiations to be postponed.
