Al-Ahly Club won the summit of the seventh round of… Women’s Basketball Super LeagueAfter defeating its traditional rival, Sporting, with a score of 75-61, in the match that brought them together a short while ago, at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Hall at Al-Ahly’s main headquarters on the island.
Al-Ahly defeats Sporting in the Women’s Basketball Super League
The results of the match between Al-Ahly and Sporting in the Women’s Basketball Super League were as follows:
First period: Al-Ahly (26) x Sporting (23)
Second period: Al-Ahly (48) x Sporting (26)
Third period: Al-Ahly (59) x Sporting (51)
Fourth period: Al-Ahly (75) x Sporting (61)
The preliminary round of the Women’s Basketball Super League is held in a home-and-away system, with the winner of each match receiving two points, compared to one point for the defeated, for ranking from first to eighth, and determining the quarter-final matches.
Eight teams participate in the preliminary league of the Women’s Basketball Super League, namely: Al-Ahly, Sporting, Al-Jazira, Heliopolis, Essid, New Giza, Smouha, and Misr Insurance.
Today’s matches concluded at eight in the evening, with Al-Jazira Group facing off against Al-Sayed in the Al-Jazira Youth Center hall.
