Follow Major General Dr. Ismail Kamal, Governor AswanThrough the control center of the National Emergency and Public Safety Network, the Nile navigation movement resumed normally, following stabilization of weather conditions after the governorate was exposed to a dust storm today.
Resuming Nile and air navigation in Aswan Governorate
The governor confirmed, in a statement, the regularity of air traffic between Aswan International Airport and other airports, whether domestically or internationally.
Marine engineer Sami Al-Barbari, director of river navigation in Upper Egypt, said in a statement: After the wind speed calmed down and horizontal visibility improved, navigational activity returned in the water body within the governorate.
He pointed out that this includes tourist ships, pontoons, Nile ferries, sailboats, and fishing boats in the course of the Nile River, as well as in Lake Nasser, in accordance with safety rules during safe sailing, maneuvering, and trawling.
