The security services at the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a post supported by a photo that was circulated on social networking sites, in which a girl was harmed by a person because he assaulted her sister by beating her and causing her injury following a precedent in which she was denied eligibility to complete their engagement due to his bad behavior in Cairo.

For its part, the Ministry of Interior issued a statement regarding the incident, which said: As part of revealing the circumstances of a post supported by a photo that was circulated on social networking sites, during which one of the girls was harmed by a person who assaulted her sister by beating her and causing her injury following a precedent in which she was denied eligibility to complete their engagement due to his misconduct in Cairo.
Upon examination, it was found that on the first of this month, a female student residing in the department’s office reported to the Maadi Police Department with injuries to her neck and face, that she had been harmed by two people because they assaulted her by beating her and causing her injury due to her previous relationship with one of them and the refusal of her eligibility to complete the engagement due to his bad behavior.
The defendants were arrested, two students residing in the department’s office, and when they were confronted, they confessed to committing the incident as referred to. Legal measures were taken, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
