Buddhist spiritual leader the Dalai Lama and the Jeffrey Epstein files

An official statement published by the Dalai Lama’s website, in response to media reports and publications on social media that attempted to link the spiritual leader to the controversial case files, revealed that His Holiness never met Jeffrey Epstein and did not authorize any meetings or communications with him on his behalf.

Some circulated Indian and international press reports, which indicated that searches on the US Department of Justice website showed the word Dalai appearing about 169 times in emails, documents and records within Epstein’s leaked files.

An examination of these signals revealed that they relate to retransmitted news articles and passing references about failed attempts to organize events or meetings, without any evidence of an actual meeting or direct contact taking place.

Earlier, the US Department of Justice published about 3.5 million files related to the Epstein case, including emails, documents, photos, and videos.
